Product Returns & Refunds

Eligible for Refund/Exchange:

Unopened Products:

  • Full refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery
  • Product must be in original packaging, unused, and sealed
  • Proof of purchase required (order number or receipt)

Damaged or Defective Products:

  • Full refund or replacement within 30 days of delivery
  • Must report damage within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • Photo evidence of damage required
  • We cover return shipping costs for damaged/defective items

Not Eligible for Refund:

  • Opened or used products (due to hygiene and safety standards)
  • Products purchased more than 14 days ago (unopened) or 30 days ago (damaged)
  • Products without proof of purchase
  • Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers
  • Gift cards or promotional items

How to Request a Refund

Step 2: Provide the following information:

  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged/defective)

Step 3: Receive return authorization

  • Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours
  • If approved, we'll send you return instructions

Step 4: Ship the product back

  • Use the shipping method we provide
  • You cover return shipping for unopened products (unless damaged/defective)
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service

Step 5: Receive your refund

  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
  • Refund issued to original payment method
  • You'll receive email confirmation once processed

Exceptions & Special Cases

Product Reactions or Allergies:

  • If you experience an adverse reaction to our products, stop use immediately and contact us
  • We may request a doctor's note for verification
  • Refunds handled on a case-by-case basis

Wrong Product Delivered:

  • We'll send the correct product at no extra cost
  • You can keep or return the wrong item (we cover return shipping)

Lost or Stolen Packages:

  • Once a package is marked as delivered by the courier, Okunrin is not responsible for lost or stolen items
  • We recommend providing a secure delivery address
  • Contact the shipping carrier directly for claims

Refund Processing Times

Payment Method Refund Timeline
Debit/Credit Card 5-10 business days
Bank Transfer 3-5 business days
Mobile Money 2-3 business days

Note: Refund timelines depend on your bank or payment provider. Okunrin processes all approved refunds within 5-7 business days.


Exchanges

We offer one-time exchanges for unopened products within 14 days of delivery:

  • Exchange for a different product of equal or greater value
  • If the new product costs more, you pay the difference
  • If the new product costs less, we'll issue a store credit for the difference
  • Customer covers shipping costs for exchanges

Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless we shipped the wrong or damaged item)
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility for change-of-mind returns
  • We cover return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items

Store Credit

In certain cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund:

  • Valid for 12 months from issue date
  • Can be used on any Okunrin product or service
  • Non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
